


These High efficiency Maytag use 13 gallons of water to wash your clothes. These washers will operated the best if you only put ¼ cup of soap in. If you add too much soap your close will come out wet and the washer will look like this when you open the door.
Machine Operation
- Add Clothes
- Select Desired Wash Cycle
- POWER WASH – Adds additional time to the wash and adds an additional rinse cycle.
- Select Temperature (HOT, WARM, COLD)
- NORMAL or DELICATES
- Select Temperature (HOT,WARM, COLD)
- IF you would like an extra rinse – Select EXTRA RINSE (Additional $.25)
- POWER WASH – Adds additional time to the wash and adds an additional rinse cycle.
- Close Door
- Add: Coins
- Add: FILL SOAP TO THE FILL LINE ONLY
- I you are using soap pods – PUT THE SOAP POD IN THE WASHER WITH THE CLOTHES
- Add: Bleach (to the fill line)
- Add: Softener
- PRESS START
To get the best wash possible:
- Check the interior of the washer prior to putting your clothes inside.
- This machine requires liquid soap, bleach and softener.
- Do not over fill the washer. The clothes have to tumble in order to wash correctly. If you have to force the door closed – you are trying to wash too many things.
- After you fill the washer – there still should be a little portion of the rear drum visible.
- Do not under fill the washer – Put enough clothes in the washer. If you only wash one item the machine will display “out of balance” and your clothes will come out wet.
- Do not over soap – The soap dish fill line is the perfect amount. If too much soap is in the machine the display will show SOAP and your clothes will not wash correctly.
What can go wrong!

- If your coins get jammed in the machine.
a. If an attendant is available – ask for help.
b. If no attendant is available – please fill out an out of service card to advise us of the problem, we will be happy to refund the money that was lost. - If the machine gets stuck on the middle of the cycle.

Please give us as much detail on the out of service card so that we can correct the problem immediately. - If the power goes off – the machine should restart from the where it left off.
- If the machine leaks water.

- Check to make sure there are no clothes stuck in the door and the door is closed.
- Please put an out of service card on the machine after your cycle has completed so that we can evaluate the problem with the equipment.
- If you clothes come out wet.
- There could be a problem with the machine – if an attendant is available – please ask for help.
- The machine could be over stuffed with clothes. This condition will not allow the machine to spin correctly.
- Too much soap was installed in the machine.
- The machine was out of balance due to too little clothes in the machine
- Fill out an out of service card and we will look at the machine.
